Understanding how the evolving system & great teaching are crucial components of an effective education system, the FAP National Awards 2022 are organized to acknowledge and honour the excellence of private schools, their prolific management, dynamic teachers and meritorious students on 3-4 December, 2022 under the sincere leadership and guidance of President of Federation of Private Schools & Associations, Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri. This event witnessed the presence of S. Harjot Singh Bains, Hon’ble Minister of School Education, Jails, Mines and Geology and Water Resources, Government of Punjab and S. Harpal Singh Cheema, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Government of Punjab as a Chief Guest of the event. The Principal of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, Mrs. Anitha R. is feeling proud to announce that Mr. Hardeep Singh ( Punjabi Lecturer) and Mrs. Charanpreet Kaur (Business Studies Lecturer) have been awarded with Best Teacher Award. They have been working in education field for last 17 years. They always believe in giving right education to students and said that this award in real goes to their students. Apart from these, Anshika Garg of Grade VI has been awarded for State Champion for Science  in Mega Olympiad Combat. The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. is honoured with Golden Principal Award and Mrs. Sukhpreet Kaur has been honoured as an Inspiring Teacher. In addition to this, Students who excelled and gave remarkable performance in academics and sports are also awarded which includes Pareesha Singla who secured 99% aggregate marks in Grade XII appreciated with Pride of Punjab for Academics, Karanvir Singh, Rajvir Singh,Agrima Rishi and Agamya Rishi are glorified with Pride of Punjab for Sports Category. The School Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Gupta congratulated everyone and blessed everyone to do hard work and keep on glorifying the lives of pupils.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
