Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur manifested their artistic skills in Art Competition beautifully and made the school proud

The aforementioned quote rightly says that, art not only highlights our creative aspect, but, it also expresses one’s inner feelings and desires. Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur rightly believes in this and therefore never fails to provide an opportunity to encourage the talented Vasantarians in pursuing their passion related to art and craft. Fourteen students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur participated in the Annual Art  Competition under the Multi Art Creator’s Welfare Club, Sangrur -2023 held at Ranbir College, Sangrur on 21st January, 2023 (Saturday). Many well-known schools of the district had participated in the event. There were different categories in the competition for primary classes to senior classes. The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. congratulated all the winners and said that all our participants performed magnificently in their own categories. The competition was very exciting and participants gave their best shot.

In recognition to the hard work put in by our students, Vasant Valley  Public School, Sangrur won 8 top positions and 6 consolation prizes. The results are as follows —Divjot Kaur, Riya Singla, Navpreet Singh, Rajveer Singh secured second position in their own category, Jasmanjot Kaur, Anureet Kaur Chanchalpreet Kaur got third position in their own category. Apart from these, Kamalpreet Kaur, Gursakhi, Hurnoor Kaur, Neerav Gabha, Amritbeer Singh, Piyush Garg grabbed consolation prizes for their utmost artistic skills. This fun filled competition witnessed an enthusiastic participation by all students.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams.
