Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur planned a field trip to nearby smart supermarket for tiny tots

On , 12 December, 2022, the pre-primary students of LKG visited Smart Point Supermarket, Sangrur which was 15 minutes away from the school. Students were made aware of the different sections at the store like the fruits section, the vegetable section, the dairy section, bakery section etc.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. stated that such School field trips creates great learning opportunities for students which they can continue at home. Adding to this, she said that our little champs saw a wide variety of food and goods. Children were thrilled to see magnificent supermarket. The store in charge satiated the queries of the young minds by explaining them about the working and importance of food mart. 

The visit to the one roof grocers market was a great learning experience for each child. This hands-on learning experience exposed children t
o a variety of foods in a fun, real-world setting.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
