Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur organized a Seminar on the Philosophy of Bhagwad Gita

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur is working with the objective to impart innovation-driven education consisting of remarkable infrastructure enabling the latest teaching methodologies. The School strives to inculcate a blend of modernity with traditionalism in all its students. Keeping this in mind, the seminar was conducted on 27 January, 2023 in the School Auditorium which aims to reflect the philosophy incorporated in Gita, the principles of life and karma reflected in it, along with good governance, political, economic, and social justice which would help us in establishing a welfare state as contemplated under the Indian Constitution. This seminar was organized under the guidance of Association called “Gita Mandali Parivaar” and the lecture was given by Guru Ji. The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. said in her statement that the Bhagavad Gita is an ancient tale of wisdom in the midst of chaos. She also added that the prime objective of this seminar was to make the students understand that the Gita presents applied knowledge that contribute to our practice in the day to day world of work, home and family. It is a series that inspires reason and discernment to help one transcend both concepts and limitations. On a whole, Guru Ji delivered interesting and fruitful lecture for all the students and teachers.  The School Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Gupta expressed his gratitude to all the members of Gita Mandali Parivaar to aware the students and teachers about the significance of Bhagavad Gita and how one can overcome stressful situations by inculcating Bhagavad Gita in life.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
