Joyous Baisakhi Celebrations with little toddlers at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur

 

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur has a rich tradition of celebrating all festivals in the School to make the young learners aware of their vibrant culture. Thus, the occasion of Baisakhi was celebrated by the students of Pre-Primary with full zeal and enthusiasm on 13 April, 2023 in the School Auditorium. Students of Nanhe Kadam from Sangrur and Dhuri also joined the celebration.                                                          

 

Our little Vasantarians were looking radiant in their vibrant Punjabi attires and  enthusiastically participated in modelling and many creative activities which added grace to the event.      

 

The dazzling musical and dance performances were the highlight of the event. The students were familiarized with the origin of the fest, process of harvesting  and historical significance of the day.

 

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. encouraged the students to enjoy all the festivals and blessed everyone to have prosperous lives ahead.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams. The students have earned a comprehensive range of excellent individual scores with a composite average that epitomizes excellence and hard work.
