Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”

 A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul. Furthermore it also helped students to learn that we should keep our environment clean .

 On this occasion, the School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. said that “Vasant Valley has always been a very environment-friendly school and we have always worked hard on implementing sustainable ways in our curriculum to protect the planet .” She also conveyed her blessings on Eid- al-fitr and wished that “May the spirit of Eid get well imbibed by the students and inculcate the true spirit of secularism in children.”

  The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams.
