Mango Party for Primary kids in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur

It is the time of the year when a dash of mango- the sweet, juicy, tropical fruit in any dish instantly makes the dish a hot favourite.

29 July, 2023 (Saturday) was observed as ‘Mango Day’ in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur for the tiny tots of Kindergarten which was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. Students had brought diced mangoes cut in artistic ways. They had made artistic crowns and mango bodies with paper and worn it as their outfit. The teachers made them aware of the benefits of this natural fruit.

Children were also engaged in various creative activities such as paper tearing, pasting, and drawing of mangoes. The children were able to associate with the shape, form and size of a mango better than before, and were proud of the drawings they made. During the lunchtime, the children shared their various varieties of dishes filled with juicy mangoes which they had brought as special tiffins.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. was mesmerised to watch lovely toddlers in bright yellow outfits. Therefore, witnessed that children left the school with smiling faces and they had enjoyed immensely at VVPS.
