Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur excelled in SOF Olympiads

 Olympiad exams help to create competitive awareness among students at school, national and global level. These exams aim to improve problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills of students. While preparing and competing in such competitive exams, they build a positive academic foundation. They gradually strengthen the student’s analytical reasoning, logical thinking, IQ, and other skills.

Our young Vasantarians participated in the different Silver zone and SOF Olympiads and won Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in the various subject categories. They were awarded with medal(s) as well as a certificate for their achievements. Out of 250 students, Sachin Garg and Anshika Garg were selected for second level of SOF Olympiad exam for Maths and Science and they were honoured in the school with Merit Certificate.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. congratulated both the students and wishes them all the best for their future endeavours.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
