Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur rocked the rackets in Badminton tournament

 Perseverance and tenacity are often the foundational traits of success. When these are combined with dedication and teamwork, the result is outstanding. That’s what the Vasantarians  have been trained for. Sports and athletics have been a constitutive segment of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur. 

Two of the badminton players of VVPS named, Abhimukt Rishi and Agamya Rishi of Grade X took part in the Under 17 District Level Tournament held on 18 July, 2023 i.e Tuesday.

Keeping up the legacy of splendid performance, both the players grabbed Gold Medal in Single, Double and Mix double categories of the game. They both are selected for State Tournament which is going to take place in Ludhiana.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. congratulated to our young achievers , for showing their true signs of willpower, perseverance and determination.She also added that the school takes immense pride in the achievements of young shuttlers who excelled in the game of Badminton and wished them a great success in life ahead.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
