Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur organized an orientation programme for the teachers to develop their embracing and extensive personality

 

Every school aims at the holistic development of students as well as teachers which is possible only when all the teachers, students and parents form a strong bond and bring a smooth transition in the Society. The foundation for good student and teacher relationship is when there is a frequent and open communication and a clear understanding of what is better for each child.

 Keeping this in mind, an ‘Orientation Programme’ was organized for the teachers of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur from 29 June, 2023 to 1 July, 2023. The programme was conducted in the school campus and the prime motto was to develop the communication skills, to build confidence in them, to have active collaboration between teachers and coordinators. There were numerous activities setup for the faculty members to get the best out of them.

The programme started with an amazing introductory session in which teachers got a sneak peak of various aspects of one another. All the activities related to reading, listening and speaking sessions along with fun filled games  laid stress on need of effective communication in English language and sought their support and suggestions so that the best could be done for the overall development of each personnel of the school. All the teachers shared their views on how to nurture a child with love and care, and to build a strong foundation for their glorious future.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. ensured that these sessions will definitely bring a smooth change and could see enlightenment in all the teachers. She also spoke about the need of changes in the school system and emphasised that active collaboration between the teachers and students will help the children to think critically and creativity .The event proved to be a very fruitful one and as it concluded and all the teachers are geared up for the Session after Summer Vacation.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
