Investiture Ceremony at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur for Session 2023-24


 It is rightly said, “Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul, Dream big, for every dream precedes the goal.”

The Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur held the  Investiture Ceremony for Session 2023-24  on 4th August, 2023 (Friday) to invest the newly appointed School Council which was presided over by respected chairpersons and high authorities of the school.

It was the occasion where the elected students were all prepared to wear the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibility entrusted to them.

The event began with a prayer followed by the pinning up of badges. Looking resplendent in their uniforms, each student of Cabinet took the oath wherein the school council pledged to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. The pride and sense of dedication in their voices was palpable.

Our respected Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. congratulated the newly appointed council members. In her address, she reiterated that student council posts were about responsibility and authority. She guided them to be worthy role models for their peers by being exemplary in their disposition and demeanour.

The School Chaipersons, Mr. Sanjay Gupta and Mrs. Ratna Gupta and the faculty members of the institution extended their wishes to the newly elected student council and shower their blessings upon them.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
