Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur brought laurels to the School in Karate Zone Tournament



Karate is an ideal sport as it imparts training in self-defense and discipline. Further, it enhance leadership skills and helps to build confidence in the player. Students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur bagged top positions at the recently held Karate Zone level Tournament-2023 held at Sangrur on 10th and 11th August, 2023.

 

In the Boys Category, Jashandeep Singh and Sukhrajveer Singh of Grade VII grabbed first position and second position was bagged by  Rahulinder Singh and Armaan Dhillon of Grade VII. Likewise in the Girls Category, Meenakshi, Mehakpreet Kaur and Pargunpreet Kaur of Grade VI made us all proud by grabbing first position. It is believed that this is the result of dedication, hard work and consistency of students.

 

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. gave her heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and firmly believe that activities like martial arts can play a crucial role in helping children to explore their potential, strengthen their inner self, and develop important life skills such as self-confidence and self-discipline. She also encouraged other students to pursue their passions and strive for excellence in all the things they do.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams.
