Tiny tots of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated Independence Day with full patriotic fervor and zeal

“May we think of freedom not as the right to do what we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right. “

The 77th Independence Day of India was celebrated with immense patriotic zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Nursery to Grade III along with toddlers of Nanhe Kadam Vasant Valley from all the three branches on 12 August, 2023 (Saturday).

The students were dressed in the vibrant colours of the nation – green, white and saffron and performed a medley of heart touching  patriotic songs complemented by the harmonious tunes of the keyboard. This was followed by the much-awaited  dance performance, wherein the students channelised their determination and resilience into a power-packed and impactful dance along the tunes of patriotic songs. The students brought the day alive with their passion and love of the motherland- India and made this event successful.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. addressed the students  by reiterating the way our brave freedom fighters sacrificed their lives, happiness and families – just so we could enjoy the taste of liberty.
