Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated Teacher’s Day with full zeal and zest

 


Teacher’s  Day was celebrated in the School on September 5, 2023 and the celebration began at around 8:00 am in the morning. The program was lead off with a prayer song sung by the school choir, followed by an innovative inauguration by honorable Chairman Ma’am, Director Ma’am and Principal Ma’am who offered flowers to a portrait of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. A student then gave the audience a peek into the life of Dr. Radhakrishnan through speech. This was followed by beautiful poems presented by students who thanked the teachers for all the efforts they put into to help the pupils to grow. The School choir also presented ultimatum music performance for the teachers in  their melodious voice.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. while addressing the entire school, urged students to maintain the bequest of respecting teachers and lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success. She also appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every child and extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life. The program wrapped up with a flavorful and scrumptious luncheon after the school hours for the entire Teaching and Non Teaching Staff of Vasant Valley Public School inclusive of all Branches.

Thus, the entire celebration paved a new hope for teachers to rejoice the journey as a teacher. The crux of the programme was ‘Celebrating Teachers on the Teacher’s Day.’

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
