Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur hosted Teachers Enrichment and Training Workshop for two days
The dream begins, most of the time, with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth”.
Keeping this in mind, Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur
organized a Training workshop after the Mid Term for Pre Primary Teachers on
Learning Outcomes and Pedagogy in the school campus. All the teachers of Pre
Primary Block attended the session with full enthusiasm.
The workshop mainly aimed to enhance the pedagogical skills
of teachers and educators in the region and focused on the topic of
"Learning By Doing.” It was conducted by the Managing Director of S.
Chand’s Milestone - Mrs. Babita Aggarwal .
It consisted of multiple sessions
throughout the day, covering various aspects of learning by doing, engaging
teachers in interactive discussions, group activities, and hands-on exercises
to deepen their understanding. The exchange of ideas and experiences enriched
the learning environment and fostered collaboration among educators.
The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. said that we consider
this workshop as one of the milestone in terms of scaling up our efforts to
engage youngsters in the process learning by Doing and make them understand the
concepts in better way. She also added that if teacher development programmes
create opportunities for teachers to collectively and critically reflect on
their pre-existing beliefs, it could help them use their newly acquired skills
more effectively and convincingly.
