Inter School Declamation Competition Unveils Eloquent Talents at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur
The stage was set, and
the aura brimming with anticipation as Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur
proudly hosted the prestigious Inter School Declamation Competition on 6
November, 2023 under the organization of Falcons Sahodaya Schools Association,
Sangrur. It was an event that witnessed the coming together of eloquent talents
from various schools, who left an indelible mark with their oratorical skills and
insightful speeches.
The competition
commenced with a grand inauguration, graced by the presence of esteemed guests,
including the President of Sahodaya Schools, Sangrur- Capt. Rohit Trivedi and
Secretary of the Sahodaya Schools, Mr. Sunil Kadam and the Director Ma’am of the School- Mrs. Deepika Gupta who lit the
ceremonial lamp. Their presence added a sense of honor and gravitas to the
event.
The panel of judges for
the event consisted of distinguished experts in the field of literature and
public speaking. They meticulously assessed the participants based on their
content, delivery, and overall impact.
Around 20 Schools from
Sangrur District participated in the competition, with each school sending
their most promising young orators to engage in intellectual combat. The
declamations covered a wide array of topics, from social issues and current
affairs to literature and philosophy. The young orators exhibited profound
insight and exceptional articulation skills as they presented their
perspectives on these topics. The competition was not merely a battle of words;
it was a testament to the power of youth and their ability to express their
thoughts, concerns, and aspirations. The eloquent speeches resonated with the
audience, leaving them not only educated but inspired.
After a day filled with
intense deliberations, the results were finally unveiled. First position goes
to Ananya Bhagria of General Gurnam Singh Public School, Sangrur, Second
position bagged by Suhalia of Tara Convent School, Malerkotla, Third position
goes to Kritika of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur. Apart from this,
Archana of The Cambridge School, Dhuri was honoured with Master of Eloquence
Award for her great way of speaking. The winners were not only rewarded with
trophies and certificates but also with the knowledge that they had
successfully conveyed their thoughts and ideas to a captivated audience. The
competition was so fierce that every participant was a true champion in their
own right.
The School Principal,
Mrs. Anitha R. stated proudly that this
Inter School Declamation Competition was a remarkable testament to the
potential of the next generation. It left everyone in attendance with the
belief that our future is indeed in capable and articulate hands. She also
added that the Vasant family takes immense pride in having organized this
event, which celebrated the spirit of oratory and critical thinking.
