Joyful Celebrations Mark Children’s Day Special at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur

 


In a heartwarming celebration, Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur organized a special assembly to commemorate Children’s Day on 14 November, 2023 in the School campus. The school echoed with laughter and excitement as students from various classes participated in a series of engaging activities and games.

The assembly commenced with a beautiful prayer by teachers showcasing their love and joy through melodious prayer song. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as  voices of teachers resonated with songs, poems, and speeches dedicated to the spirit of childhood.A highlight of the event was a captivating music performance performed by teachers, conveying a message of unity, friendship, and the importance of embracing the joyous essence of being a child.

The teachers also joined in the celebration, organizing interactive games for tiny tots of Pre Primary Block and Nanhe Kadam- Sangrur and Dhuri and such games that not only entertained but also emphasized the significance of learning through play. The winners received accolades and small tokens of appreciation, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festivities.

As the day concluded, the School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R.  expressed gratitude towards the students and staff for their collective efforts in making the Children’s Day celebration memorable. The day served as a reminder to cherish the innocence, creativity, and boundless potential within every child.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
