In a riveting spectacle of intellect and precision, a cohort of exceptionally talented students has etched their names in the history of chess  by securing victory in a fiercely contested championship. Sukhpreet Kaur of Grade X grabbed Bronze Medal and showcased an unparalleled mastery in Khedan Watan Punjab held at Jalandhar. Likewise Khushpreet Kaur of Grade IV grabbed Gold Medal in Punjab State Primary School Games- 2023 held at Malerkotla, navigating through a labyrinth of intricate moves with an unwavering focus that left spectators in awe.

The championship witnessed the rise of  prodigious minds. Each move was a testament to their months of rigorous training, analysis, and an insatiable thirst for excellence. As the final checkmate echoed through the tournament hall, the elation on the faces of these triumphant students mirrored the collective pride of their School.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
