Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur lit up with the spirit of Diwali as students and staff came together for a day of vibrant celebrations.

The campus was adorned with colorful decorations, setting the stage for a festive atmosphere that echoed the joy of the festival of lights. The day kicked off with special assembly spreading the warmth of Diwali throughout the school. The cultural extravaganza unfolded with mesmerizing dance performances, showcasing the diversity of India’s rich traditions. Students t gracefully depicted  the stories and legends associated with Diwali through their poems and speeches and captivated the audience with their talent and enthusiasm. The students came in Indian traditional attires to add more festivity to this celebration.

Adding a creative touch, a Rangoli competition brought out the artistic flair of our students. The school grounds transformed into a canvas of vibrant colors and intricate designs, reflecting the beauty of Diwali. In the spirit of community, a Diya & Puja Thali decoration competition engaged junior students in expressing their creativity. The painted diyas, once illuminated, served as a collective symbol of the inner light that Diwali encourages us to nurture.

As the celebrations unfolded, the dance party became a kaleidoscope of colors, echoing the festive spirit of Diwali and as the day concluded, echoes of laughter and the glow of diyas lingered, leaving behind memories of a Diwali celebration that truly illuminated our school with joy and togetherness.

The School Principal, Mrs. Anitha R. send her warm wishes of Diwali to the entire School and said that she was filled with immense joy and gratitude for the vibrant spirit that envelops the whole school community. She also added that may the joy of Diwali illuminate our lives and inspire us to continue spreading positivity and warmth.
