In a resplendent affair, the School’s Annual Award Function unfolded its tapestry of recognition on 7 December, 2023 at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur dedicating an enchanting day to the intellectual luminaries who graced the Academic Stage during the 2022-23 session. IFS- District Forest Officer Dr. Monika Yadav, posted at Sangrur added another charm to the event as Chief Guest and she is known for her remarkable contributions to her profession, brought a sense of honor & inspiration to the occasion. From the budding minds of Grade 1 to the seasoned scholars of Grade 12, the event transcended mere acknowledgment, weaving a narrative of accomplishment that echoed through the hallowed halls of auditorium. Young Sports Stars from various disciplines were honored for their outstanding performances. Apart from Celebrating Academic excellence, a ceremony also witnessed to honor students who achieved a remarkable feat – 100% attendance throughout the Academic Year 2022-23. The event recognized their unwavering commitment to education and highlighted the importance of regular attendance in fostering a conducive learning environment.

As the spotlight shifted, the ceremony ascended to a pinnacle, applauding the pinnacle achievers of the CBSE Class X and XII Boards. These prodigious talents, etched their names into the annals of excellence. Their journey symbolized not just personal triumphs but a collective celebration of academic fortitude, affirming the school’s commitment to fostering a culture where intellectual distinction is both lauded and cherished.

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory.
