Vasant Valley Prodigy Khushpreet Kaur Secures Position in All India Chess Championship

 

In a triumphant display of chess brilliance, Khushpreet Kaur, a fourth-grade sensation from Vasant Valley Public School, has clinched the 5th position trophy and a substantial cash prize at the prestigious 3rd RCA All India Chess Championship for under-11 players.

 Chairman Mr Sanjay Gupta and Principal Mrs Anitha Rajagopalan,have expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Khushpreet's exceptional achievement, commending her strategic acumen and dedication to the sport. This remarkable feat not only reflects Khushpreet's individual prowess but also highlights Vasant Valley's commitment to nurturing and celebrating excellence in diverse fields. Kudos to Khushpreet Kaur for making the  school proud!

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
