A Bright Start to the New Academic Year at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur!


The dawn of the 2024-25 academic session at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, was met with great enthusiasm and anticipation. Students eagerly gathered in the assembly ground, ready to embark on another year of learning and growth. The morning began with a heartfelt assembly where students and teachers came together to start the day with a prayer.

The highlight of the assembly was the motivational speech by the school Principal, Ms. Anitha R. Her words inspired students to set ambitious goals and pursue their passions with dedication. The positive tone set by her speech resonated with both students and faculty. Teachers warmly welcomed students with tokens, while kindergarten children enjoyed games and photography sessions, their excitement evident on their faces as they headed to their new classrooms.

Following the assembly, interactive learning sessions were organized for students from Grade I to X, aimed at fostering a lifelong love for learning. The day took an enchanting turn with a mesmerizing magic show, filling the auditorium with laughter and wonder. This unique start infused energy and enthusiasm among the students, making it a memorable first day back at school.

As Vasant Valley Public School embarks on this new academic journey, the spirit of achievement and the thirst for knowledge shine brightly.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The students got inspired to save, love, and respect Mother Nature with all their hearts and soul.
