Educational Excursion: Class II and III Students of Vasant Valley Public School Explore Verka Milk Plant
In an enriching educational journey, students from class II
and III of Vasant Valley Public School
embarked on a fascinating visit to the Verka Milk Plant,Sangrur, on 27th
April,2024 . Accompanied by teachers and supervisors, the young learners delved
into the intricate processes of milk production and distribution.The children
were delighted to get day away from the toils of the academic life.
Children were looking forward to the day with great
anticipation. Each child’s eyes sparkled with excitement and energy on the way
to the plant.
With wide-eyed curiosity, the students observed each step of
the milk processing journey, from the arrival of raw milk to its transformation
into various dairy products. They were captivated by the state-of-the-art
machinery and the meticulous attention to hygiene and quality control.
Interacting with knowledgeable staff members, the students
gained insights into the importance of dairy farming, sustainability practices,
and the nutritional value of dairy products. The visit provided a hands-on
learning experience, igniting a sense of appreciation for the efforts behind
every carton of milk.

The School Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan added that such
