Vasant Valley Public School Student- Harbasant Singh Wins Bronze in Sangrur District Fencing Championship


Harbasant Singh, a student of Class III at Vasant Valley Public School, has made his school proud by clinching the Third position in the U-10 category at Sangrur District Fencing Championship held in Sangrur on May 16, 2024. Demonstrating exceptional strength and skill, Harbasant  secured the Bronze medal in a fiercely contested event.

Our School Principal Mrs Anitha Rajagopalan, extended her heartfelt congratulations to Harbasant  for his outstanding achievement. She remarked, "Harbasant’s dedication and hard work have paid off remarkably. His victory is not just a personal triumph but also a testament to the spirit of excellence at Vasant Valley Public School. “

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
