Vasant Valley Public School School Dominates Open National Taekwondo Championship in Shimla

 


In a remarkable display of skill and determination, students from Vasant Valley Public School,Ladda,Sangrur, showcased their prowess at the Open National Taekwondo Championship held in Shimla from June 5th to 7th, 2024. The contingent secured an impressive haul of medals, cementing their reputation as formidable competitors on the national stage.Leading the charge with exemplary performances, three students clinched the coveted gold medals in their respective categories.

Baljot Singh and Karanvir Singh from class 10, along with Gurjotveer Singh from class 7, demonstrated exceptional technique and strategic prowess to emerge victorious in their events. Additionally, the team secured two silver medals, further solidifying their standing in the championship.  Taranveer Singh from class 10 and Yuvkaran Singh from class 9 displayed outstanding athleticism and resilience, earning well-deserved recognition for their accomplishments.

The remarkable success of these students not only reflects their dedication and hard work but also underscores the commitment of Vasant Valley Public School  towards nurturing talent and promoting excellence in sports. Their triumph serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes within the school and beyond, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with unwavering determination.
