Investiture Ceremony 2024 at Vasant Valley Public School, Ladda: A Celebration of Leadership and Excellence


In a grand ceremony held at Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, the investiture ceremony took place on 10 July, 2024 in the school auditorium , marking the beginning of a new era of student leadership. The event saw the swearing-in of the newly elected student council members, who were adorned with badges and sashes, symbolizing their new roles.

The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, Ms Anitha Rajagopalan who emphasized the importance of leadership and responsibility. The newly elected Head Boy, Jaspreet Singh, and Head Girl, Harnoor Kaur, led the oath-taking ceremony, promising to uphold the values of the school and work for the betterment of their peers.

The student council members, comprising the literacy club, discipline society, cultural captain, and sports captain, were also sworn in along with their respective vice captains. The House cabinet members, were also conferred with their badges.

The Principal congratulated the newly elected leaders and urged them to work together as a team, fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a motivational speech by the Chairman, *Mr Sanjay Gupta.

The student council members have pledged to work tirelessly for the welfare of their fellow students and the school community, promising a year filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and progress.

 "We are committed to making our school a better place, where every student can grow and thrive," said Jaspreet Singh, the newly elected Head Boy.

 "We will work together to create a positive impact and make our school proud," added Harnoor Kaur, the newly elected Head Girl.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
