School students took responsibility to preserve the environment

 

This time 8 lakh plants will be planted under the leadership of Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri

 Mission Hariyali was launched this year at Jagraon jointly by Apna Punjab Foundation and Federation of Private Schools which is constantly striving in the field of health, education and environment. During the joint meeting of Punjab Foundation and Federation of Private Schools and Associations of Punjab, this mission was started under the leadership of Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri. The director of the foundation, Mr Sanjay Gupta, said that in the year 2022, five lakh sixty-eight thousand saplings were planted by the Punjab Foundation and in the year 2023, a world record was established by planting seven lakh saplings. The founder and chairman of the organization under the leadership of Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri, last year 11000 students wearing green clothes built the world's largest tree, which has become a world record. Through this record, he gave a message to the society about trees. He said that this time under Mission Haryali, the target is to plant eight lakh saplings from July 10 to July 17 and along with this, Guru Nanak gardens will be planted by 50 schools as per the model prepared by the foundation. In the coming few days, all the school buses of Punjab will be made aware of the society by placing posters on save water and plant trees. Today, this poster was started by putting this poster on the bus in the presence of the district representatives of all the districts of Punjab and the directors of Punjab Foundation and Federation. This year, 100 schools will send clear rainwater from the roofs to the ground by installing plants in their schools. Punjab Foundation and Federation invites all the people of the society to join this campaign. Core committee members of all districts of Punjab were present on this occasion.
