Vasant Valley Public School Preprimary Students' Heartwarming Project Promotes Love for Wildlife

 

In a heartwarming initiative, young students from Vasant Valley Public School have captured hearts with their creative project aimed at nurturing love and empathy towards wildlife. As part of their curriculum on environmental awareness, the preprimary students embarked on a unique journey to create nests for birds and small animals.

Under the guidance of their teachers and with enthusiastic participation from parents, the children learned about the importance of caring for other living beings. Armed with recycled materials like twigs, leaves, and cardboard, they meticulously crafted nests designed to provide safe havens for birds and small creatures in their local ecosystem.

Principal Mrs Anitha Rajagopalan expressed immense pride in the students' efforts, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in early education. "This project goes beyond just creating nests; it teaches our children to respect and cherish all forms of life".

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory.
