"Hands-on Science: Dr. Jaswinder Singh Conducts Engaging Practical Learning Session"

 


Vasant Valley Public School,Sangrur organised a practical session on 28th August,2024.

 Our school  auditorium was transformed into a science laboratory as Dr. Jaswinder Singh, a renowned educationist also known as Shiksha Ratan, conducted an interactive practical learning session for students. The session was a huge success, with students enthusiastically participating in various experiments and activities.

Dr. Singh's session focused on specific topic, e.g., Magnetism, electrostatic and other forces. Students were divided into groups and worked together to conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results. Dr. Singh provided guidance and support, encouraging students to think critically and creatively.

The session was designed to make learning fun and engaging, and it certainly achieved that goal. Students were thrilled to get hands-on experience with scientific concepts and equipment, and many expressed their excitement about pursuing science-related careers.

"Dr. Singh's session was amazing!" said  the students "We never knew science could be so much fun!"

The practical learning session was organized by the school's science department, and we are grateful to Dr. Singh for sharing his expertise and passion for science with us.

"Science is not just about textbooks and theories; it's about exploring, discovering, and creating. I'm thrilled to see our students so enthusiastic about science!" - said the School Principal Mrs.Anitha Rajagopalan.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams. The students have earned a comprehensive range of excellent individual scores with a composite average that epitomizes excellence and hard work.
