International Tiger Day observed in the Primary classes of Vasant Valley Public School

International Tiger Day is observed every year on July 29 to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered royal animal. Alarmingly, wild tiger numbers dropped by more than 95% since the beginning of the 20th century. Consequently, this day was founded in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit in Russia.

The tiny tots of Vasant Valley Public School celebrated International Tiger Day with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The little ones from Pre school to class 1 enjoyed a variety of activities on this day.  The Pre school children did craft work with paper plates and painted tigers on them.

The Pre primary students joyously made finger puppets of tigers and skillfully sketched drawings of these majestic creatures to celebrate International Tiger Day.

The School Principal Mrs.Anitha Rajagopalan added that their creative efforts not only fostered an appreciation for wildlife conservation but also provided an enjoyable and educational experience for the young learners.

Under the leadership of The Chairman, Mr Sanjay Gupta, the organization is committed to fostering a sense of environmental stewardship among it's students. Through nature walks, wildlife awareness programs and active participation in global environmental campaigns like International Tiger Day, the school strive to empower their students to become responsible custodians of our planet.
