The i-school Training for Teachers of English conducted by Vasant Valley Public School on 29th July,2024 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm in the school auditorium to signify the illuminating power of learning.

An interactive session was held by resource person Ms.Maryann  Vaisoha [ Training Consultant-British Council ].

Ms.Vaisoha presided over the session wherein she stressed on the need to understand the function of the English language and strategies to develop language skills amongst students through storytelling and activity fun based exercises. The session was very interactive and comprised of various activities,  which the teachers can incorporate in classroom learning. The objective of these activities is to emphasize on maintaining positive mindset and motivational level to equip teachers to make a bigger impact in the classroom.

The School Principal Mrs.Anitha Rajagopalan added that the Training Session was an interactive one. It enlightens the teachers about the components of a successful, well managed classroom by learnt numerous innovative ways of enhancing the skills of teaching learning method.

Following this The Chairman Mr.Sanjay Gupta accompanied by The President of Private School Federation Punjab Mr.Jagjit Singh Dhuri highlights the school's mission of spreading awareness about the relevance significance of education.

The Training Session ended with a commitment from the participant teachers to attempt the techniques of teacher-learning method discussed at the training in their own classes.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
