Vasant Valley Public School Students Excel on National Space Day


On August 23, National Space Day was celebrated with a series of educational and competitive events organized by ISRO in collaboration with SLIET, Longowal, Sangrur. Students from Vasant Valley Public School participated with great enthusiasm and brought home multiple accolades, showcasing their brilliance in space science and creativity.

In the Quiz Competition, Vasudev from Class XI secured the 1st position, while Manjeet from Class IX achieved the 3rd position. Manya of Class X displayed her exceptional writing skills, earning the 2nd position in the Essay Writing competition. *Damanveer Kaur of Class XII impressed everyone with her creativity, winning the 3rd position in the Poster Making competition.

The school principal and chairman extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students, applauding their hard work and dedication. "We are incredibly proud of our students for their outstanding achievements. Their success in such a prestigious event reflects the quality of education and encouragement provided at Vasant Valley Public School," the Principal Mrs Anitha Rajagopalan  said in a statement.

The chairman  Mr Sanjay Gupta added, "Our students have shown remarkable talent and passion for space science. Their achievements inspire the entire school community, and we look forward to more such accomplishments in the future. "

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
