"Vibrant Celebration of Nutritional Week at Vasant Valley Public, Sangrur"

 

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur  observed Nutritional Week from September 1st to 6th, 2024, with great enthusiasm and zeal. The week-long celebration aimed to educate students about the importance of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Students from pre-primary to 12th grade participated in various activities, including:

- Nutritional talks by science department

- Healthy food demonstrations

- Nutrition-themed quizzes and games

- Poster-making and chart competitions

The celebration culminated with a special assembly, where students showcased their learnings and pledged to adopt healthy habits.

Principal Mrs.Anitha Rajagopalan emphasized, "Nutritional Week is an integral part of our school's curriculum, empowering students to make informed choices about their diet and lifestyle."

The event was a huge success, with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
