Vasant Valley Public School Celebrates Dussehra with Vibrant Festivities

 

Vasant Valley Public School, came alive with the spirit of Dussehra as students showcased a variety of performances, celebrating the triumph of good over evil. The annual festivities featured a captivating Ramleela play, where students brought to life the epic tale of Lord Rama's victory over Ravana.

The celebrations also included a lively Dandiya dance performed by the girls, captivating the audience with their energy and enthusiasm. The pre-primary students added charm to the event with their delightful dance routines, showcasing their joy and innocence.

The school choir mesmerized everyone with melodious renditions of songs dedicated to Mahishasura Mardini, paying homage to the goddess Durga.

Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan and the Chairman Mr Sanjay Gupta, addressed the gathering, extending warm wishes for a joyous Dussehra. and emphasized in  the importance of these traditions in instilling values of courage and righteousness in students.

The event concluded with a sense of unity and celebration, marking another successful Dussehra at Vasant Valley Public School.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
