VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL CELEBRATES GURUPURAB WITH SHABAD GAYAN AND SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

 

On 14th November 2024, VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL held a heartfelt celebration of GURUPURAB in the SCHOOL AUDITORIUM, bringing students and staff together to honor the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The program began with a serene atmosphere as students from Grades 1 to 8 participated in Shabad Gayan, filling the auditorium with soulful hymns that echoed the values of compassion, unity, and devotion imparted by Guru Nanak.

 In her address to the students, Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan shared the significance of Guru Nanak's teachings, emphasizing values such as humility, equality, and selflessness. She encouraged students to imbibe these virtues, reminding them of the importance of kindness and respect in their everyday lives.

 The event was a meaningful celebration, offering students a chance to connect with their cultural heritage while fostering a sense of unity and reverence. The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving everyone with a sense of peace and inspiration.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
