 "Vasantarians Showcase Cultural Heritage and Emphasize Importance of Global Citizenship"

VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated its ANNUAL FUNCTION from December 1 to 3 and 5th, 2024, on the theme "VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM" (The World is One Family). The four-day extravaganza was a grand celebration of the school's achievements, talents, and cultural diversity.

The annual function was inaugurated by the chief guests, Professor Manikant Paswan[Director S.L.I.E.T Longowal], Mrs. Simrat Kaur Khangura[Social Activist], and Mr. Amit Bamby[PCS ( ADC) Sangrur, along with the Chairman, Mr. Sanjay Gupta,  other management members and Principal.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Sanjay Gupta emphasized the importance of the theme, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," which highlights the need for global citizenship, unity, and harmony. He encouraged the students to become responsible global citizens and to work towards creating a better world.

The annual function featured a wide range of cultural programs, including music, dance and drama. The students showcased their talents through various performances, including a grand finale that highlighted the theme of the event.

The chief guests, Professor Manikant Paswan, Mrs. Simrat Kaur Khangura, and Mr. Amit Bamby, applauded the students' performances and encouraged them to pursue their passions. They also emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of our nation.

The annual function concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where students were awarded for their outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities.

School Principal Mrs.Anitha Rajagopalan thanked the chief guests, the Chairperson, and the management members for their presence and support. She also congratulated the students, teachers, and parents for their tireless efforts in making the event a grand success.

The annual function of Vasant Valley Public School was a resounding success, showcasing the school's commitment to excellence, creativity, and community service.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.   The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams.
