  SANGRUR, JANUARY 14, 2025: On the auspicious occasion of MAKAR SANKRANTI, VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL embarked on a noble initiative to serve the community through LANGAR SEWA. This selfless act of service aimed to promote unity, compassion, and the spirit of giving.   Khushpreet Kaur, a talented student of Class 5 at VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, has made her school and family proud by achieving outstanding success in recent chess championships. In the Punjab State School Under-11 Girls Chess Championship held at Mohali, Khushpreet secured an impressive 2nd position. Her remarkable performance has earned her a coveted spot to represent Punjab at the National Chess Championship, scheduled to take place in Andhra Pradesh. Adding to her accolades, Khushpreet emerged as the champion in the Women Chess Championship Punjab, held at Budhlada in Mansa district, where she claimed the 1st position.
