Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur Excels in Inter-School Sports Meet

 


SANGRUR, January 21, 2025: Students of VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, Sangrur, brought laurels to their institution by securing top positions in various events at the HUB OF LEARNING INTER-SCHOOL SPORTS ATHLETIC MEET COMPETITION 2025.

Held on January 18, 2025, at Pioneer Convent School, Gajjan Majra, the competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from several schools across the region.

Shubreet Kaur of Class 9, Navneet Kaur of Class 7, and Rahulinder Singh of Class 8 from Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, emerged victorious, securing first position in their respective events such as 100,200,400 M Track Race , Shot Put, Discuss Throw and Long Jump.

The school management and staff congratulated the winning students on their outstanding achievement, praising their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship.

This accomplishment is a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing the talents of its students and promoting a culture of excellence in academics and extracurricular activities.

Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
