Vasant Valley Public School Celebrates Baisakhi with Great Enthusiasm

 


VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, SANGRUR, CELEBRATED the HARVEST FESTIVAL of BAISAKHI with great enthusiasm and fervor on APRIL 12TH. The festivities commenced with a special morning assembly in the school ground, where students showcased their rich cultural heritage through folk dance performances and a Punjabi skit.

The students' energetic performances of traditional Punjabi folk dances, such as Bhangra and Gidda, left the audience mesmerized. The Punjabi skit, which highlighted the significance of Baisakhi, was well-received by the students, and teachers who attended the event.

"Baisakhi is a significant festival in our cultural calendar, and I am delighted to see our students celebrating it with such enthusiasm. This festival is a celebration of our rich cultural heritage, and I am proud to see our students embracing their roots," said Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman, Vasant Valley Public School.

"Today's Baisakhi celebration was a wonderful display of our students' talent and creativity. It was heartening to see our students come together to celebrate this significant festival, which marks the beginning of the harvest season. I congratulate our students, teachers, and staff for making this event a success," said Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, Principal, Vasant Valley Public School.

The Baisakhi celebrations continued im the school auditorium, where students enjoyed a lot. The event was a huge success, and the students had a wonderful time celebrating this significant festival. The school wishes everyone a happy Baisakhi and looks forward to many more celebrations in the future.

  The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated the Earth Day with students

As a step towards educating, inspiring and motivating children to act, World Earth Day was celebrated on 21st April 2022 by the students of Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur focusing on the theme “Invest in our planet.”   A wide range of activities had been organised for students such as slogan writing competition, thumb painting, balloon painting on Earth Day so that they understand the need to restore Earth’s environment to its former glory. Tiny tots also presented a wonderful skit based on Earth Day and planted small plant saplings in the school campus.
