Vasant Valley Public School Celebrates World Earth Day
VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL,
SANGRUR, CELEBRATED WORLD EARTH DAY on APRIL 22 with great enthusiasm and
eco-awareness. The event was marked by various activities across different
departments, promoting the importance of environmental conservation and
sustainability.
The little tiny tots of the
pre-primary section showcased their creativity through ear bud painting and
crown making activities. These innovative projects not only fostered their
artistic skills but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards the
environment.
The primary and middle school
students participated in drawing and poster making competitions, respectively.
These events encouraged students to express their thoughts and ideas about
environmental conservation through art.
Students of classes 9 and 10
participated in a quiz competition, testing their knowledge about the
environment, conservation, and sustainability. This event aimed to raise
awareness about critical environmental issues and promote informed
decision-making.
As part of the "Go Green"
initiative, students from 11 &12th classes brought saplings to school,
symbolizing their commitment to saving the planet. This collective effort
emphasized the importance of planting trees and nurturing the environment.
