Declamation Competition Showcases Young Orators’ Talent at Vasant Valley Public School

 

SANGRUR, ON 14th May 2025 -The spirit of eloquence and confidence was on full display as students from Grades 5 and 6 participated in the much-anticipated DECLAMATION COMPETITION held at VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL. The event, designed to nurture public speaking skills, featured multiple rounds of rigorous screening and culminated in a thrilling final round.

The competition began with three screening rounds, where numerous enthusiastic participants showcased their oratory abilities. After intense evaluation, six finalists from each grade advanced to the final stage, where they competed for the top honors.

Judged on a variety of parameters including clarity, expression, content, confidence, and overall impact, the finalists delivered compelling speeches that captivated the audience. The judges faced the challenging task of selecting the winners due to the high caliber of performances.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, who applauded the students’ efforts and emphasized the importance of effective communication skills in today’s world.

 Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of School said: "We are proud to witness such young talent confidently expressing their views and ideas. Events like these are crucial in shaping the leaders of tomorrow by honing their communication skills and self-assurance."

 The *School Principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan added: "It was truly inspiring to see our students embrace the challenge of public speaking with enthusiasm and grace. I congratulate all participants for their hard work and encourage them to continue developing their skills."

In the end, three outstanding students from each grade were awarded first, second, and third positions, recognizing their exceptional talent and dedication.

The Declamation Competition not only provided a platform for students to enhance their public speaking skills but also boosted their confidence and encouraged healthy competition among peers.
