Vasant Valley School Celebrates International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm

VASANT VALLEY SCHOOL MARKED INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY on JUNE 21ST with great enthusiasm and

participation from students across all grades, from Grade 1 to the senior classes. Despite the ongoing summer vacation, the spirit of yoga united the school community, with students actively joining the celebrations from their homes.

The day began with a virtual yoga session where students, teachers, and even some parents participated. The young learners showcased various yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques, emphasizing the importance of physical and mental well-being.

Chairman Mr. Sanjay Gupta shared his thoughts on the occasion:Yoga is not just an exercise; it is a way to connect with oneself and find inner peace. I am proud of our students for embracing this ancient practice, even during their holidays. Let us all make yoga a part of our daily lives for a healthier future.

School Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan also addressed the students, saying: "It is heartening to see our students' dedication and enthusiasm for yoga, even from their homes. Yoga teaches us discipline, focus, and resilience—qualities that are essential in every walk of life. I encourage everyone to continue this practice beyond Yoga Day.

The event concluded with a collective meditation session, leaving everyone refreshed and motivated. Vasant Valley School continues to inspire its students to adopt holistic practices for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
