Vasant Valley Public School Students Explore District Stadium and Banasar Garden, Sangrur

JULY 5, 2025 – STUDENTS of VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL from GRADES 2 to 4
recently EMBARKED on an EXCITING EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION to two PROMINENT
LOCATIONS in Sangrur: the DISTRICT STADIUM and the HISTORICAL BANASAR GARDEN.
This outing provided the young learners with a unique blend of physical
activity and cultural enrichment.
At
the District Stadium, the students had the opportunity to explore the
basketball court and tennis ground. They engaged enthusiastically, learning
about different sports and the importance of physical fitness. The visit
allowed them to experience the vibrant atmosphere of a professional sports
venue, inspiring many to take an interest in athletics.
Following
the stadium visit, the children moved to the Banasar Garden, a well-known
historical monument in Sangrur. Here, they admired the beautiful architecture
and serene surroundings, gaining insight into the region’s rich heritage. The
students also enjoyed recreational activities, including playing on the swings,
which added an element of fun to their educational trip.
