Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur Organizes Cancer Awareness Camp

 

VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, SANGRUR, REAFFIRMED its COMMITMENT to COMMUNITY welfare by ORGANIZING a CANCER AWARENESS and CHECK-UP CAMP on AUGUST 4TH, 2025, at its SCHOOL CAMPUS. The initiative, held in collaboration with leading healthcare professionals, aimed to educate students, parents, and staff about cancer prevention and the importance of early detection.

The event began with an informative session where healthcare experts addressed common cancer myths, provided screening information, and encouraged a healthy lifestyle. Free check-ups and counseling services were made available for all attendees.

 Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of Vasant Valley Public School , expressed his pride in the school’s proactive approach. He remarked,

“Our mission extends beyond academic excellence—we strive to nurture responsible, health-conscious citizens. This camp is a step towards enlightening the community on crucial health matters like cancer prevention and early diagnosis. I thank everyone involved for making this initiative possible.”

 Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan, Principal of the school , also addressed the gathering:

“Schools play a vital role in shaping tomorrow’s society. By hosting such health camps, we enable our students and their families to make informed choices and lead healthier, happier lives. I deeply appreciate the support from our staff, parents, and medical experts.”

The school plans to conduct more health-related awareness programs in the future, reinforcing its role as a center for holistic growth and community well-being.

  The Annual Result Declaration Day was held in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on March 30 and 31, 2024. The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year. It was rewarding to observe the tremendous growth demonstrated by the students who exceeded their own wildest dreams.
