 “Little Angels Bring Vrindavan Alive in School Janmashtami Event”


VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, SANGRUR, came alive with colours, joy, and devotion as students, and  teachers,  gathered in the school auditorium to celebrate Janmashtami with great enthusiasm.

The celebration began with a devotional atmosphere, as our tiny tots entered dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha. Their innocent charm and graceful attire captivated everyone present. The Class 3 girls’ dance performance was truly mesmerizing, taking the audience into a mood of spirituality and festivity. Furthermore, the little angels from Playway, Nursery, LKG, and Class 1 showcased delightful group performances that held the audience spellbound and earned loud applause.

 Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mr. Sanjay Gupta shared, "Janmashtami is not just a festival of devotion and joy; it is a celebration of values like truth, love, and righteousness which Lord Krishna taught us. Our students are the torchbearers of these values, and events like this nurture their cultural roots."

 School Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan extended her heartfelt gratitude to parents, staff, and students, saying, "Such celebrations enhance the creative talents of our children, connect them to our rich heritage, and teach them the importance of unity and respect. I am proud to see our students performing with such confidence and enthusiasm."

The program concluded with a grand finale, devotional songs, and blessings for students to imbibe the teachings of Lord Krishna in their lives. The day left everyone with smiles, cherished memories, and a heart full of devotion.
