Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur Celebrates Guru Nanak Dev Ji Jayanti

VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL, SANGRUR CELEBRATED GURU NANAK DEV JI JAYANTI with great devotion and enthusiasm ON 4TH NOVEMBER 2025. The celebration began with a serene atmosphere as students from Classes 1 to 8 participated in a soulful Shabad Gayan Competition. Their melodious renditions filled the campus with spiritual energy, spreading the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji—peace, humility, and compassion.

The winners of the competition received achievement certificates as a token of appreciation for their dedication and talent. The event served not only as a platform to showcase vocal skills but also as a reminder of the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Sikh faith.

Chairman Mr. Sanjay Gupta congratulated all participants and encouraged them to follow the principles of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their everyday lives. He appreciated the efforts of teachers in guiding students to understand the true essence of the occasion.

School Principal Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan , in her address, applauded the participants for their devotion and discipline. She emphasized that such events play a vital role in nurturing moral values and unity among students.

The celebration concluded with a collective prayer for peace, harmony, and prosperity.

Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was organized for students of Kindergarten Section

  Poetry is the core of literature”. To spread the fragrance of poetry among the children, a Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was held for Nursery to U.K.G. students in Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur on 5 August, 2023.
