Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur celebrated its annual sports meet, Kreeda Utsav 2025-26, with vibrant athletic activities and enthusiastic participation on the school premises
The
school’s five houses—Beas, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi, and Sutlej—participated in a
variety of track and field events, team games, and fun competitions. Each house
put forth exceptional effort, reflecting teamwork, discipline, and dedication.
Supreet
Kaur of Grade 12th from House Sutlej earned the title of Best Athlete of the
Year (Girls), while Raninder Singh of Grade 11th from House Chenab was named
Best Athlete of the Year (Boys) for their outstanding performances. The overall
championship trophy was proudly lifted by House Sutlej, which displayed consistent
excellence throughout the meet.
Chairman
Mr. Sanjay Gupta , in his message, congratulated all participants and
appreciated the school’s commitment to nurturing not only academic excellence
but also physical fitness and sportsmanship. He emphasized that participation
in sports builds leadership, resilience, and respect—values essential for
success in life.
Principal
Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the staff,
coaches, and students for making the event a grand success. In her address, she
remarked that sports play a vital role in shaping a student’s character and
promoting holistic development. She encouraged students to continue striving
