Vasant Valley Public School, Sangrur, organized a programme "Empowering Girls: Health and Hygiene Awareness Session" in its auditorium, exclusively for girls from the middle and senior wings.
The programme featured expert
sessions on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and breaking myths, with
interactive demonstrations and distribution of hygiene kits to participants.
School staff coordinated the event to foster a supportive environment for
adolescent girls. It emphasized practical tips for maintaining hygiene during
menstruation.
Chairman Mr. Sanjay Gupta addressed
the gathering, stating, "Empowering our girls with knowledge on menstrual
health is crucial for their confidence and well-being; let's prioritize this as
a foundational aspect of education." His words inspired the students to
embrace hygiene as a lifelong habit.
School Principal Mrs. Anitha
Rajagopalan commended the participants, saying, "This programme equips our
girls to navigate puberty with dignity and awareness; Vasant Valley is
committed to holistic health education for all." She urged ongoing
