Brains in Action: Inter-House Social Science Quiz Sparks Excitement at Vasant Valley Public School

 


Vasant Valley Public School successfully organized an Inter-House Social Science Quiz Competition on 25th April 2026, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and intellectual engagement among the students.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all houses. The participants were initially shortlisted through two preliminary rounds, ensuring that only the most knowledgeable and confident students advanced to the final stage. In the final round, three students from each house represented their respective houses, showcasing their teamwork and subject expertise.

The quiz comprised multiple rounds covering diverse topics from history, geography, civics, and current affairs, making the competition both challenging and enriching. The participants displayed remarkable confidence, quick thinking, and a strong grasp of concepts throughout the event.

After an engaging and closely contested competition, Chenab House secured the first position, followed by Sutlej House in the second position, while Jhelum House claimed the third position.

The event was well-coordinated by the Social Science Department, and the moderator ensured an interactive and lively atmosphere. The audience also remained actively involved, making the competition more dynamic and enjoyable.

On this occasion, the School Chairman, Sh. Sanjay Gupta, appreciated the efforts of the participants and encouraged students to keep enhancing their knowledge and skills. The School Principal, Ms. Anitha R., also lauded the organizing team and motivated students to continue striving for excellence.

The event concluded on a high note, leaving students motivated and inspired to excel academically.

The day began with the distribution of report cards, where students were recognized for their hard work and achievements throughout the year.
