Earth Day celebrated with enthusiasm at Vasant Valley Public School
Vasant Valley Public School
celebrated “Earth Day” with great enthusiasm and awareness on April 22, 2026 .
A special prayer meeting was organized on the occasion, in which the students
shared the message of environmental protection. The program began with
speeches, poems and poster presentations on the topic “Save the Earth”. The
students presented powerful ideas on the importance of trees, water
conservation and the harmful effects of plastic. A tree planting drive was also
organized in the school campus, in which both students and teachers
participated enthusiastically.
Several creative activities like
poster making, essay writing and elocution competitions were also organized,
which increased environmental awareness among the children. Such programs
motivate the students to connect with nature and protect it.
The school chairman, Mr. Sanjay
Gupta, also praised the students and said, “Today’s children are the
responsible citizens of tomorrow. If they are environmentally conscious from
now on, our future will be safe.”
In her message, the school
principal, Mrs. Anitha Rajagopalan said, “Earth is our heritage; it is our duty
to protect it. Small efforts together can bring about big changes.”
At the end of the program, all the
students and teachers took a pledge to keep the earth clean and green. The
program was not only informative but also successful in understanding our
responsibility towards nature.
